Unity Building Security has immediate job opportunities for Fire Life Safety Directors Hotel Setting
The starting wage is $30.00 per hour, including an extensive benefit paid holidays, paid sick and vacation. Must be a NYS Licensed Security Guard holder and must hold a valid FDNY CoF T89 or F89 Certification. Overtime may be required as needed to include weekends.
Shift availability: 3pm-11pm, 11pm -7am Seven days, twenty-four hours on weekends and holidays

Responsibilities
- Maintaining accurate fire and life safety logbooks in accordance with NYC Fire Code
- Administration duties, Welcome guest and employees.
- Follow directions from the Lead FLSD and Client Contact
- Will be require to conduct round within the Hotel
- Be a liaison between Property Management, building staff and first responders in the event of an emergency.
- Communicate with Property Management, Guest, and Visitor to the Hotel.
- Excellent Customer Service.
- Ensure that all FDNY Inspections, Testing & Maintenance is scheduled, completed and documented.
- Assist in securing the facility as required by the site which may include access control, patrols I. D. Card prep and other assigned duties.
Job Requirements
Education, Licenses and Certifications Required:
- Must be a NYS Licensed Security Officer
- Must have a valid F-89 license or T-89
- Must possess a high school diploma or GED
- Must be able to pass any State-requirements.

- Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors.
- Ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public.

- Must be able to take Ownership of the Operation in absence of the Lead FLSD/ Manger
- Able to take a FDNY On-site and Pass
Certification Requirements
- NYS Security Guard License
- FDNY CoF F-89 or T89 Fire Life Safety Director
