Four decades of family-owned leadership

The original corporate entity was formed by a group of commercial real estate property owners to provide non-union security personnel services to their individually owned properties. The original investors sold the non-union entity to an individual investor who formerly was employed by it on January 1, 1996. The individual investor brought in family members to the organization and expanded the entity’s customer base.  Because of the New York State requirements that companies providing security personnel services be licensed, the security personnel services portion of the Company was spun-off to comply with the new State requirements and Unity Building Security, Inc. was formed.  This segment of the business grew from annual revenue of under $1,000,000 to over $6,000,000 providing its services within the New York City metropolitan area. The Company currently employee’s over 150 licensed security and life safety personnel in a very competitive environment.

The Company goal has always been, and continues today, to provide exceptional service at a competitive price. Our success is reflected in our average client retention of over eight years. Many of our security and life safety employees have been with us over fifteen years.
