Compensation: $70k-$99k base salary (negotiable)

Location: This position is onsite in Anaheim, CA.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Project Manager's duties include ensuring the safety of field personnel assigned to projects, managing field labor productivity, quality assurance, and coordination.
  • Implement safety policies and procedures at jobsites and the fabrication shop, and train all personnel in safety practices.
  • Document site safety reviews for visited projects.
  • Lead New Hire Orientation for all employees.
  • Conduct live training for Competent Persons (e.g., Confined Space, Fall Protection, Excavation and Trenching).
  • Keep all documentation up to date.
  • Ensure all programs and policies are in place and being followed.
  • Conduct accident investigations.
  • Effectively apply our methodology and enforce standards.
  • Develop relationships with clients to build trust.
  • Lead by example and foster a safety culture through coaching and counseling.
  • Be available during high-risk activities, such as crane work.
  • Perform other assigned duties.

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Prefer a minimum of 3 to 5 years of construction experience in safety management for large commercial and industrial projects.
  • HS Diploma or equivalency required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of safety experience.
  • Understanding of OSHA and Cal-OSHA regulations.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 (Word, Excel, email).
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • OSHA 500 Certification, or the ability to attain certification within 6 months.
  • 1st Aid/CPR trained.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Communicate effectively with the Company Loss Control Team.
