Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Develop and implement safety training programs for site personnel.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
  • Monitor compliance with health and safety standards and regulations including OSHA guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety-related activities and incidents.
  • Collaborate with site management to promote a culture of safety and health.
  • Prepare and present reports on safety performance and areas for improvement.
  • Assist in the development of health and safety policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Health, Environmental Science or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a safety role within the construction industry.
  • Certifications such as OSHA 500, OSHA 30-Hour Construction, OSHA 30-Hour General Industry, and CHST preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of safety protocols and regulations.
  • Experience conducting safety audits and inspections.
  • Excellent communication and training skills.
  • Knowledge of industrial hygiene and incident investigation techniques.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and influence others.
