We are seeking a SH&E Specialist to be located in either Charlotte OR Atlanta and report to the SH&E Manager.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

•    Provide functional leadership, technical guidance, capability building across all parts of the assigned geography to enable associates to realize their SH&E goals and create pride in their achievements.

•    Uphold organizational safety & health initiatives through the regulation of safety policy compliance, behaviors, and the identification of safety & health improvement opportunities

•    Lead New Hire training and ongoing SHE competency training for ReadyRefresh Field Operations associates.  This includes building leader capabilities around incident investigations and identification of root causes & CAPAs, preventive coaching, and contractor management (including permit-to-work).

•    Coach and guide training mentors.  Provide leadership feedback on New Hire training progression and adherence to training follow-up expectations.

•    Align stakeholders to a compelling vision for SH&E, aligned with ReadyRefresh strategy.  Champion SHE policies and regulatory compliance activities / execution. Inspire the sites/region to embrace SH&E values, excel in compliance & continuously improve, leveraging ISO management system.

•    Provide SHE technical support on identifying, assessing & managing workplace SHE risks relative to OSHA, DOT, EPA, fire safety, similar State regulations, and Ready Refresh requirements in the area of control.   Coordinate development of response plans & capability for relevant emergency situations (ex. injuries, security, fire, and weather).

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

•    College degree in Occupational Safety & Health or related field

•    2 – 5 years of business, operations, training, or SHE experience

•    SHE professional certifications (CSP, ARM, CHMM, etc.) or equivalent.

•    Ability to support with cross functional teams in operational or industrial environment.

•    Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with frontline employees, peers and management.

•    Understand Ready Refresh policies and standards on safety, health, and environment; SH&E roadmaps; OSHA, DOT, EPA, and similar State & Local regulations and requirements

•    Ability to drive positive change through personal leadership and influence
