We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Suppression Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Clean Agent and Suppression Systems, with a passion for ensuring the highest standards of fire protection. Preferred candidate will have experience selling products such as FM-200, FIKE, CO2, Ansul , Novec, Inergen, and Nitrogen based systems. This role involves working closely with clients to assess their needs, provide expert advice, and deliver effective fire safety solutions. The Suppression Sales Engineer will play a critical role in enhancing fire safety measures and compliance within various environments. We value experience and training in this field and the salary is negotiable, and will be commensurate with both .

Responsibilities

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of suppression needs for various facilities.
  • Design and implement fire protection systems.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their specific fire safety needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation outlining findings, recommendations, and compliance measures.
  • Engage in sales activities including calling potential clients to promote fire safety services.
  • Conduct product demonstrations to showcase the effectiveness of fire safety equipment.
  • Participate in territory sales efforts to expand the company’s market presence in fire safety engineering.
  • Upsell additional services and products to existing clients based on their evolving needs.

Job Requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or related field experience preferred
  • Proven experience in inside or outside sales is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of NFPA and fire safety regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients at all levels.
  • Proficiency in followo up and managing customer interactions.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
  • Experience with product demos and upselling techniques is a plus.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong analytical skills.
