Diversified Safety is seeking a Safety Consultant for bi-weekly consulting in Charlotte, North Carolina.
As the Safety Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to clients on safety issues. You will be responsible for conducting audits and assessments, identifying risks and hazards, and developing strategies to mitigate them.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice and guidance on health and safety issues to clients
- Conduct health and safety audits and assessments
- Identify risks and hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them
- Develop and deliver health and safety training programs
- Keep up to date with relevant health and safety legislation and industry best practices
- Work with clients to develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures
- Provide support and advice to clients on incident management and investigations
- Prepare reports and presentations on health and safety issues for clients
Job Requirements
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Safety Consultant or similar role
- OSHA 30 hour
- First Aid CPR
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and legislation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
