Job Description
Wiginton Fire Systems, a leader in fire protection, is seeking motivated individuals to train as Fire Sprinkler Service Technicians in our Charlotte office.
Candidates located in or near Columbia, South Carolina, or Concord, North Carolina, will be given priority consideration.

Responsibilities
Are you mechanically inclined and eager to learn a valuable trade? Join our team as a Trainee/Apprentice Fire Sprinkler Service Technician and grow your skills in the fire protection industry. You'll be mentored by experienced technicians as you learn to service, repair, and install fire sprinkler systems and other vital fire protection equipment. Responsibilities include assisting with on-site service calls, developing troubleshooting abilities, and learning proper documentation procedures.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- License: Valid driver’s license.
- Physical Requirements: Comfortable working at heights, working outside, and the ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Background Check: Ability to pass a background screening.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of materials, tools, equipment, and installation procedures.
- Problem-solving: Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Customer Service: Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Certifications: Willingness to go through hands-on training as well as achieving state or national certifications.
