Work Schedule
This is a full-time position, with shifts starting between 4 and 6 AM, Monday through Friday. Overtime opportunities are available for those looking to maximize their earnings. Work is performed across Southern California, primarily in Orange County-no central reporting required, as you'll dispatch directly from home.
Responsibilities
A Day in the Life of a Lead Fire Alarm Tech
As the Lead Fire Alarm Tech, you'll oversee a team responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing low-voltage systems, including advanced fire alarm systems. You'll troubleshoot issues, conduct annual fire alarm inspections, and maintain detailed records. Whether it's bending conduit, reading blueprints, or programming panels, your expertise ensures that buildings remain safe and systems operate seamlessly.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- 5+ years of fire alarm field experience
- Proven ability to lead a crew
- Experience with conduit bending and blueprint reading
- Good driving record
- Reliable vehicle for 20-mile commutes
Preferred Qualifications:
- Fire alarm panel programming experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
