Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Guard to join our security team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our premises, ensuring that all protocols are followed, and responding promptly to any incidents. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 35 per week

Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent theft, vandalism, or other criminal activities.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Respond quickly and effectively to alarms or incidents, including fire alarms and other emergencies.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and inspections.
- Assist in the design and implementation of security systems, including fire alarm systems and alarm system sales.
- Provide guidance on construction inspections related to safety standards.
- Engage in ongoing training related to fire sprinkler fitting and fire alarm systems.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of construction inspection processes is an advantage.
- Familiarity with fire sprinkler fitting techniques and fire alarm systems is desirable.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups of people.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations.
- A valid certification related to security or safety practices is a plus.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policy.
