The Judge Group has partnered with one of the largest, privately held paper, packaging and distribution companies in the world to identify a Director of EHS to lead the organization's environmental & safety programs. The role is extremely visible, reporting directly to the President. The desired individual will be joining the organization at a time of unprecedented growth, and when developing successful EHS programs/strategies/initiatives is paramount to the company's continued success.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Requirements:
- Develop and implement an Environmental, Health, and Safety strategy aligned with the goals of the Company
- Develop and implement health and safety programs in the prevention of injuries, accidents, hazards and emergency procedures
- Partner with Safety Managers at different locations, facilitating collaboration and best practice procedures
- Continuously monitor environmental regulatory changes to maintain compliance at all times
- Lead Community engagement efforts and communications
- 10+ years of proven successes leading EHS efforts
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or other relevant certifications preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in environment, health, and safety, or a related field, required
