We’re a growing life safety and security integrator expanding into the Nashville market — and we’re looking for a Senior Fire Alarm Technician to help lead the charge.

This isn’t just another technician role.

You’ll play a key role in launching a brand-new local operation, supporting large commercial fire alarm projects, and helping establish the standards, processes, and team that will drive long-term success in the region.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, TN.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Nashville,TN.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead installation and service work on commercial fire alarm systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues independently in the field
  • Support large-scale, multi-site projects across the Nashville area
  • Help establish best practices, workflows, and quality standards
  • Serve as a Senior resource and mentor for future team members

Job Requirements

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with commercial fire alarm installation and/or service
  • Strong knowledge of NFPA 72, local codes, and inspection processes
  • Experience with fire alarm devices (smoke detectors, pull stations, horn/strobes, panels, relays, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of field work
  • Experience running/bending EMT or rigid conduit
  • Comfortable working in active commercial environments
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Nice to Have

  • NICET Certification (Level I–III preferred)
  • Experience with systems like Notifier, Simplex, Fire-Lite, Honeywell, Bosch, or Edwards
  • Previous experience acting as a lead or experienced technician
  • Exposure to security systems (access control, CCTV)
  • Experience supporting new market launches or team growth
