We are seeking a diligent and responsible individuals for our on-going needs for Fire Guards. We will be hosting on-site interviews.
*NYS Security License and a F01 license required for Fireguard Position*
When: Thursday, January 23, 2025 9AM -6PM EST

Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Secure property and personnel by standing on post, scanning, and controlling facilities, grounds, and access points.
- Implement and practice security procedures and protocols.
- Maintain a secure and safe environment by monitoring access control systems along with fire and trespassing exits.
- Conduct regular patrols to monitor premises for fire hazards, such as flammable materials, faulty wiring, or blocked fire exits.
- Maintain a visible presence to deter unauthorized access and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Respond promptly to fire alarms and emergency calls, taking appropriate action to contain and extinguish fires.
- Assist with evacuations, guiding occupants to safety and coordinating with emergency responders as needed.
- Conduct routine inspections of fire suppression equipment, such as extinguishers and sprinkler systems, to ensure they are in proper working order.
- Document all incidents, inspections, and activities in detailed reports for record-keeping purposes.
- Strong ability to be attentive to detail and observant of surroundings.
- Provide excellent customer service experience by greeting incoming guests and tenants,
- providing information regarding the site and surrounding area as requested by visitor.
- Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain, snow, or heat.
- Perform other duties assigned by supervisors related to security and safety.
Job Requirements
Work Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Fireguard license or certification required (F01).
- Valid NYS Security Guard license
- Prior experience in security, firefighting, or a related field preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects as needed.
