Shirley Parsons is teaming up with a leading provider in the concrete and aggregate industry. This Director will be in charge of spear heading the company's Safety strategy to create the safest possible environment for all workers. They will collaborate with all levels of management to integrate safety into all aspects of operations.
Responsibilities
The Role:
- Develop and implement comprehensive safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and other relevant regulations.
- Provide training and education to employees on safety practices and protocols.
- Lead incident investigations and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences.
- Promote a culture of safety through effective communication and leadership.
Job Requirements
The Candidate:
- Minimum 5 years of experience of Safety in a concrete or construction environment.
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced organizational, analytical and problem solving abilities.
- Ability to analyze data and develop actionable safety strategies.
