Job Summary
At SafeCare®, safety is a priority woven into everything we do. As the Workplace Safety Specialist, you’ll champion workplace safety by implementing effective training, reducing incidents, and fostering a proactive safety culture. This position must be committed to creating, adapting, and implementing safety-related policies, procedures, and regulations while developing positive professional relationships.
This position reports to the Vice President of Employee Engagement.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Comprehensive Incident Reporting and Root Cause Analysis. Investigates accidents or incidents to discover root causes and reports to leadership.
- Proactive Problem Solver. Recommends solutions, improvement opportunities, and preventive measures.
- Takes Proactive Steps to Prevent Workplace Incidents. Evaluates practices, procedures, and facilities to assess risk, ensure compliance, and mitigate future issues.
- Documentation. Documents best practices, policies and procedures, and site safety survey audits using videos and written documentation.
- Champion of Safety Culture. Develops and trains employees on the importance of safety, establishing a culture of compliance and safety practices in the workplace by preparing and enforcing policies.
- Compliance Regulator. Monitors compliance to policies and laws by tracking and auditing employees and operations via video calls and on-site audits.
- Certification Gatekeeper. Tracks and manages employee and company certifications and licensing.
- Driving Compliance Leader. Manages annual MVR review process.
- Safety Operations. Performs all safety related functions including, but not limited to, accident reviews, training, and takes the lead on self-audits of all program areas.
- Employee Engagement Partner. Supports the Employee Engagement team with driver’s qualification, onboarding, and termination process.
- Safety Meeting Facilitator. Facilitates the monthly safety meetings and communicate information from meetings to all leadership and employees.
- Data-Driven Reporting. Executes periodic reporting.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in workplace safety management or compliance, preferably in a service company.
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards.
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and documentation skills, with a talent for making safety training interactive.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze incidents and implement preventive measures.
