With offices near Birmingham, AL and Atlanta, GA, we're a full service fire sprinkler contractor with a 30 year history. We focus heavily on industrial projects and are looking to expand into the fire alarm space, starting with service and inspections. Currently, we're looking for a fire alarm service leader who would be interested in starting this division with us. This is great opportunity to join an already succesful company that continues to expand.

Depending on your location, travel may be required for this role.

Responsibilities

What You Will Be Doing

Inspection, service, replace, and install fire alarm systems

Program and repair fire alarm systems to NFPA standards

Develop growth plans for expanding this fire alarm service and install division

Train other technicians on fire alarm systems

Identify code and non-conformance issues and prepare accurate service reports

Identify systems that are not in code compliance and repair them as needed

Travel to job sites, as needed

Collaborate and communicate with clients with strong customer service

Job Requirements

What You Need for this Position

High School Diploma or GED

5+ years of fire alarm service, repair and troubleshooting experience

Active NICET 2 or 3 in fire alarm testing and inspections

Proven leadership or management experience

Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills

NFPA Code Knowledge

Experience working with Microsoft Word, Outlook
