We are seeking an experienced Lead Fire Alarm Technician to oversee the installation, inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems. The Lead Technician will supervise a team, ensure compliance with fire codes and safety regulations, and provide technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve issues. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as in-depth knowledge of fire alarm systems.

Responsibilities
• Perform diagnostic & repair service of various brands of fire alarm systems
• Field level management of Parts & Smarts fire alarm installations and oversee all programming Commissioning of fire alarm installations
• Oversee tenant fit outs
• Provide leadership and mentoring of other fire alarm team members
• Be able to work independently and as a member of a team
• Be a resource for guidance, training, and general oversight of Fire Alarm Test & Inspect team Complete all wiring, connections, and equipment installations ensuring that systems are complete and operational according to contract requirements
Job Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in the Fire Alarm industry installing field 5+ devices and cabling
• License: MA D License B, A EST-3
• Strong verbal and communication skills
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with both internal team and external customers
• Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to meet deadlines Ability to be on-call on a rotational basis
• Must be detail-oriented and organized
• Possess a valid state driver’s license and a clean driving record Must be able to life and move equipment and tools weighting up to 40lbs

• EST-4 Fireworks NICET
• Fire Alarm Systems Level II or above
