
Fire Alarm Installer
Job Description
We are currently looking for a dedicated Fire Alarm Installer with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the field. The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for installing fire alarm systems in new construction office buildings, hospitals, large retail stores, and other commercial properties. This is a full-time position based in Anaheim, CA, and will service areas including, but not limited to, Orange County, Riverside, and San Bernardino.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and program new fire alarm systems, including panels, detectors, and devices, in commercial buildings according to approved plans and codes.
- Perform testing and inspections of fire alarm systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and meet all safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot and repair fire alarm systems, identifying and resolving any issues that arise.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and written reference material.
- Provide training and support to customers, explaining the fire alarm system’s operation and maintenance.
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications and Certifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in fire alarm installation.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- California State Fire Alarm Installer Certification.
- Familiarity with NFPA codes and standards.
- Valid driver’s license and a reliable mode of transportation.
Specific Tools and Equipment Knowledge:
- Familiarity with different types of fire alarm systems, equipment, and tools, including various detectors, panels, and devices.
- Ability to use electronic testing equipment for troubleshooting and system verification.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools required for installations.
Safety Requirements and Protocols:
- Always adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Wear appropriate safety gear, including hard hats, gloves, and safety glasses.
- Understand and adhere to OSHA safety standards and guidelines.
