We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Fire Life Safety Director. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of security protocols and procedures.

Responsibilities
- Maintaining accurate fire and life safety logbooks in accordance with NYC Fire Code
- Be a liaison between Property Management, building staff and first responders in the event of an emergency.
- Communicate with Site Supervisors and Property Management
- Conduct drills, training and other day to day oversight of fire and life safety plan in accordance with NYC Fire Code
- Ensure that all FDNY Inspections, Testing & Maintenance is scheduled, completed and documented.
- Assist in securing the facility as required by the site which may include access control, patrols and other assigned duties.
- Must manage the panel.
- Can make building announcements.
- Have a valid F89, or T89
- Have a valid security guard license.
- Oversee the evacuation plan.
- Have an understanding of the fire panels.

Job Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in security management or a related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of security procedures, protocols, and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using security equipment and systems, including CCTV cameras and access control systems.
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform duties that may require standing, walking, or patrolling for extended periods.
- Valid security guard license required prior to assignment and valid F-89/T-89 licenses
