Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems, ensuring compliance with NFPA standards and local fire safety regulations.
- Identify and rectify any system defects or discrepancies to ensure functionality and compliance.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, maintenance schedules, and corrective actions taken.
- Collaborate with fire safety teams and other inspectors to coordinate inspection schedules and discuss safety enhancements.
- Educate and consult with property owners and management on fire safety protocols and the importance of regular system checks.
- Keep abreast of the latest fire safety regulations, NFPA standards, and advancements in fire prevention technologies.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Fire Alarm and Fire Sprinkler Inspector, with a preference for experience in commercial environments.
- Strong knowledge of NFPA codes and local fire safety regulations.
- Proficient in using technological tools and software for inspection and report documentation.
