Responsibilities

Job Requirements

Plumbing/Fire Protection Design Engineer

  • BS/MS in Engineering, or equivalent
  • EIT or PE License Desired, Not Required
  • 7-10+ years of experience in Plumbing/Fire Protection engineering and design within the MEP/FP industry.
  • Capable of handling the full plumbing/fire protection engineering on projects
  • Designing and creating plans/specifications, coordinating with the clients and project engineer on various project types
  • Proficient in AutoCAD MEP & Revit, Bluebeam, MS Office (Outlook, Excel, etc.)
  • Design/Build Project experience including Commercial, Mixed-Use, Educational, Institutional, high-Rise, Life sciences, etc.
  • Knowledge of local Code & Standards, regulatory and LEED requirements.

Preferred, Not Required:

  • Certified Plumbing Designer (CPD) or NICET Certifications
