Responsibilities

About the Role: You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing robust occupational health and safety programs across all our facilities. Your primary focus will include compliance and reporting, safety training, program implementation, and fostering a safety-conscious culture at all levels of the organization.

Your effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams make you an invaluable asset in driving continuous improvement and achieving safety excellence. In this role, you will:

  • Conduct safety assessments and audits, analyze data, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Investigate accidents, injuries, and near misses to determine root causes and implement preventative measures.
  • Compile and report accident statistics and key performance indicators to company executives.
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations, including environmental reporting and permitting.
  • Actively engage with employees to promote a safety-focused culture and identify hazardous conditions or practices.
  • Administer safety KPIs, workplace inspections, and other safety-related initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external auditors to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

Job Requirements

Qualifications to be an Environmental, Health & Safety Supervisor:

  • Minimum of 5 years of EH&S programs and practices experience in a manufacturing or construction environment safety.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant safety standards.
  • Certification as a Certified Safety Professional and OSHA 30 Hour certification.
  • Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in EHS from a recognized institution.
  • Familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead change across multiple sites. Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
