Fire Safety Systems Technician

Responsibilities
- Fully install and maintain fire alarm systems in residential and commercial buildings. (Must be able to coordinate with team, site management, and other contractors).
- Programming for single and multi-node FA systems - CalWORKs-HFSS, Gamewell FCI (S3,E3,GWF-7075 Panels) (strongly preferred).
- Conduct regular maintenance inspections and tests and lead and pass FDNY inspections.
- Service calls: Troubleshoot and repair any issues or malfunctions with alarm systems and coordinate with and advise clients.
- Read and interpret blueprints to plan and execute alarm system installations.
Job Requirements
- Previous experience in fire alarm system installation or related field required.
- Knowledge of low voltage systems, high voltage connections, wiring principles.
- Strong creativity for problem-solving skills and attention to detail are preferred.
- Good communication, customer service, teamwork skills, self-motivated.
Licenses:
- OSHA 40, SST card, NY Driver's license, S-98 CoF, other FDNY CoFs are helpful as well
