Responsibilities

Job Description: L3Harris Interstate Electroincs Corporation (IEC) Division is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Industrial Security Manager, Facility Security Officers (FSO).  The primary responsibilities of this position include oversight of overall company industrial and physical security - to include functioning as Facility Security Officer (FSO). The Security manager serves as subject matter expert to L3Harris IEC leadership on all security matters including safeguarding personnel, handling of controlled unclassified information, classified information, and classified information systems. Is responsible for the development, implementation and administration of security procedures based on Department of Defense (DoD) and other U.S. Government agency security requirements. Oversees investigations into security violations and ensures correction actions are implemented. Develops, communicates, and reinforces the mission, values and culture of L3Harris IEC.

Essential Functions:  All aspects of Industrial Security, including but not limited to:

  • Review, markup and negotiate terms and conditions.
  • Prepare and negotiate pre-award agreements including non-disclosure agreements and teaming agreements.
  • Prepare proposals including detailed analysis of cost and pricing details, risk, opportunities, and creating unique terms and conditions with cross functional input.
  • Lead security programs for cleared contractors in support of U.S. Government contract.
  • Contract execution, change management, and contract closeout.
  • Must interact effectively with all levels of internal and external customers.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Requires strong knowledge of job area. Typically viewed as having a specialty within discipline. May have broad knowledge of project management. Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. Currently or previously holding the position of FSO. This includes the investigation of security related issues coordinating with appropriate law enforcement and government agencies.
  • 4 years of experience in managing proprietary information, counterintelligence, and insider threat programs.
  • 4 years of experience of industrial and government security requirements.
  • 4 years of experience with SIMS, DISS, NISS, DIAS.
  • 4 years of experience of Visitor control employee ID, security clearance administration, creation and enforcement of company policies and procedures.
  • Active Top Secret US Government security clearance with current SSBI.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Strong Interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.
  • NIPSOM and ITAR  
  • Professional certificates such as ISP a plus.
