Responsibilities

What you will do  

  • Work independently with oversight on company initiatives
  • Work with our sales team to provide solutions for our customers’ complex commercial building requirements.
  • Develop presentations, in conjunction with our account executives, to educate customers on JCI’s capabilities.  
  • Coordinate with senior managers on strategic initiatives relating to Sales, Accounts Receivable/Payable, and Engineering.

How you will do it:

  • Learn and gain access to multiple back-office systems.
  • Collaborate with Account Executive teams on strategic initiatives.
  • Learn about JCI capabilities through taking short courses on our JCI Learning platform.
  • Utilize state of the art cloud-based platforms to perform work.
  • Engage with the team in person and/or remote through MS Teams.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:  

  • Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university  
  • Pursuing a degree in engineering, business, marketing, or other relevant field
  • An effective communicator to all levels of the organization 
  • Must have demonstrated computer skills, including use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint 
  • U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S.  

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrates an ability to learn quickly and independently 
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) preferred  
  • Strong problem-solving skills
