Job Title – Safety Manager/Coordinator

We are seeking a qualified Safety Manager with experience in MTAC&D to lead our safety initiatives and ensure compliance with all safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in overseeing safety programs, training staff, and managing safety projects, particularly in relation to C3, C5, Track Training, PMG 123, and ADA Projects.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage safety policies and procedures in alignment with MTAC&D guidelines.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Lead safety training programs, including Track Training and PMG 123, to enhance staff awareness and adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with project teams on ADA Projects to ensure safety measures are integrated into all phases of project execution.
- Analyze safety data and metrics to identify trends and develop action plans for continuous improvement.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for safety-related inquiries and incidents, conducting thorough investigations as needed.
- Facilitate safety meetings and workshops to promote a culture of safety within the organization.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 of experience in safety management within the construction or transportation sectors, with specific experience in MTAC&D.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards, particularly related to C3 and C5.
- Proven experience in conducting safety training programs and workshops.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Certification in safety management (e.g., CSP, CHST) is a plus.
