Join a well-established MEP Design Firm as a Senior Plumbing & Fire Protection Engineer, based mid-town Manhattan, with over 160+ staff in the North-East. Work on complex & challenging projects spanning Commercial Tenant Fit-Out, New Construction (Residential, Commercial, Mixed-Use and other industry segments), and Hospital / Healthcare / Lab. This is a hybrid role, typically 4-days in office (Mon-Thurs), based mid-town Manhattan. Base salary from $90k to $135k depending on experience.

Responsibilities
Your new role
As a Senior Plumbing & Fire Protection Engineer you will work closely with end clients & Architects designing complex Plumbing & Fire Protection systems. The majority of their projects are performed in Revit, with some smaller projects completed in CAD. As a senior team member you will work in a highly autonomous role, while ensuring you follow internal operational excellence guidelines & design practices. You will perform a blend of hands-on design & project management related duties, no seller/doer experience is required, though would be considered advantageous. Oversight of junior team members & mentoring is expected. Come work on some of the most challenging design work in the industry!
Job Requirements
What you'll need to succeed
Your experience working long-term within MEP Engineering Firms as a Plumbing & Fire Protection Engineer will be key to your success in this role. Experience supporting new building design, responsibility for equipment sizing & selection, expertise with Zoning for high-rise buildings, as well as adhering to NFPA guidelines is also a must to be considered. A PE License is advantageous but not mandatory to be considered for this role.
