Hatch is currently seeking a highly motivated Safety and Security Certification Professionals to join our North American Infrastructure group in our Vehicle System Assurance team in Dallas, TX.
The ideal candidates are motivated, results-driven professionals who are seeking growth. Knowledge and/or experience in one or more of the following areas are preferred: safety risk management; safety and security certification; developing safety plans and programs; conducting field assessments, and writing reports. Being capable to work well with other employees or independently as well as strong oral and written communication skills when interacting with outside vendors and clients is essential for this position. Candidates should be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of quality. Domestic and international travel may be required.

Responsibilities
As the successful candidate, you will:
- Reviewing and developing safety, reliability, maintainability, and security analyses and documentation such as SHA, O&SHA, TVA, and IHA.
- Creating and managing detailed hazard analyses at all stages of a project.
- Preparing technical documents/reports and presenting to clients, project teams, etc.
- Continuous, effective communication and relationship building with clients in the development and implementation of projects.
- Conducting field assessments
Job Requirements
You bring to the role:
- A Bachelor’s degree in applicable safety, industrial hygiene, engineering or other technical discipline
- 5- 15 years of experience working directly with a transportation agency and/or external clients
- Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team
Any one or combination of the following licenses are a plus:
- Professional Engineer (PE)
- Transit Safety & Security Professional (TSSP)
- Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)
- Certified Instructional Trainer (CIT)
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
- Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST)
- Safety Management Specialist (SMS)
