Responsibilities
Responsibilities of Global Security Operations (GSOC) – Manager
- Overseeing operations of the GSOC to ensure a thorough and positive representation of GardaWorld Security Services.
- This GSOC Manager will own customer relationships with globally significant institutions with coverage responsibilities focused in Latin America and the US.
- Responsible for overall program progress, contract management, cost control, financial reporting, scheduling, quality assurance and control, and safety.
- This position candidate understands the importance of a large-scale Global SOC model, and the need to monitor/interact with localized SOC’s
- Understanding of all platforms within client facilities, including alarms, fire panel, door alerts, intrusions, entrapments, etc. Including protocol responses, understanding of alarms, proximity to personnel for response measures and communication required.
- Ability to absorb intelligence, including internal/external events, within facility as well as in proximity bands surrounding facilities. Communicate information including necessary response based upon potential impact to facility.
- Monitor and understand potential client travelers, assets. Communicate intelligence per protocols with specific details including potential impact to travelers/assets.
- Have clear understanding of SOC operator responsibilities. GSOCM should be able to transition to Operator with ability to perform at expected levels.
- Understands Technology, including identification/understanding active/dead panels
- Supervise the day-to-day service provided to the client and ensure service is of the highest standard
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with client and employees, and serve as the liaison between GardaWorld, our client, and our assigned staff
- Meet regularly with client to address problems, provide status updates, communicate needs, and ensure satisfaction
- Participate in the selection, orientation, training, and continual development of staff assigned to the account
- Ensure 100% payroll and billing accuracy
- Ensure 100% compliance with federal, state, and local regulations in assigned account
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
- You have a New York Security license if required
- Experience working in a large Global Security Operations Center (GSOC)
- Strong proficiency with technology
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication analytical and presentation skills are required.
- Candidate must possess demonstrated decision making, problem solving, and negotiating skills.
