Fire and Life Safety Director
Job Description
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overnight shift
- Weekends as needed
License/Certification:
- Z-89 or F-89 (Required)
Responsibilities
Our FLSD staff is responsible for:
Conducting fire and life safety related duties
Monitoring and responding to the building Fire Command Station to address/prevent fire or other life safety related concerns
Enforcing compliance of all fire and life safety policy and procedure as required by FDNY, the company and the client
Manage site emergencies as they arise, ensure immediate/appropriate communications
Implement Emergency Action Plan(s) as required; coordinate actions with the property management team, FDNY, and any/all emergency personnel
Perform routine Security Officer tasks as needed
Former Law Enforcement/Veterans are strongly encouraged to apply.
Job Requirements
Job Qualifications:
Possess a valid F-89 Certification
Possess a valid NYS Security Guard License
Ability to stand and be mobile for long periods of timea
Excellent computer skills
Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills
Exhibit exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow instructions/procedures, and work in a team-oriented environment
