We are searching for an experienced safety professional to support the Greensboro/High Point, NC area. This person will be responsible for OSHA guidelines, customer and company safety policies and supporting administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
Typical Duties
- Typical schedule is 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Some weekends and overtime may be necessary.
- Conduct OSHA safety training as required.
- Conduct daily job hazard analysis and review with team.
- Walk site (to include roofs) and evaluate environment and employees for OSHA compliance and risk.
- Immediately correct risks.
- Communicate with site foreman and EHS Manager regularly.
- Complete site assessment forms and forward to EHS Manager.
- Conduct weekly tool box meetings.
- Perform AED & fire extinguisher inspections.
- Attend regular dept meetings.
- Lead incident investigations and assist with injury reports.
- Review and inspect confined space and crane lifts.
- Preform Safety Presentations.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in field construction safety industry
- Must have OSHA 30 certification.
- Must be comfortable with MS Word and EXCEL.
- Ability to take detailed instruction.
- Positive “can do” attitude, strong work ethic and a team player.
- Good problem-solving abilities, communication skills, aptitude and manual dexterity
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Flexible working schedule to support project needs.
- Must have an OSHA 510
- Osha 500 preferred
