Responsibilities
· Qualified candidates will have experience performing fire inspections and services on the following items: Wet and Dry systems, Pre-Action and Deluge, Fire Pumps, Standpipe Systems and Backflow devices.
· Sprinkler Inspectors are responsible for customer service, quality of work and the maintenance of equipment.
· Ensuring customers are serviced to the highest level of satisfaction through quality service, knowledge and training.
· Completes inspections reports neatly and in a timely fashion.
· Reviews inspection results with the customer.
· Maintains equipment and supplies to ensure they are in good working order.
· Knows/Learns the NFPA 25 codes for inspection and testing of water-based fire protection sprinkler systems.
· Stays current with code requirements and industry changes.
· Interfaces closely with the Inspection Coordinator and Service Manager to ensure that the customer receives the scheduled work as promised.
Job Requirements
· Qualifications for candidates may include, but are not necessary, NICET certification, NY’S and NJ’S Backflow Testing License.
· Candidates must have the ability to lift up to 50lbs.
· Candidates should possess a High School Diploma or GED, along with basic to moderate computer skills and two plus years of experience.
· Possess a valid driver’s license; in accordance with Company’s policy.
· Capability to present information and respond from lead inspectors, managers, customers, AHJ’S (Authority Having Jurisdiction).
