Reports to: VP of HVAC and VP of Plumbing
Full Time/Part time/Casual: Full Time
Exempt/Non-Exempt: Exempt

Responsibilities
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Implement and oversee all safety procedures on our ground up Plumbing and HVAC projects
- Provide safety leadership for assigned projects
- Conduct work area safety audits and ensure safety requirements are met
- Identifying workplace hazards relating to the specific operations
- Take prompt measures to correct any hazards
- Implement a systemic Corrective Action Plan
- Prepare and conduct safety training sessions for employees
- Maintain safety logs, file, and track all site safety reports
- Other duties as assigned by management
Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
At least 4 years of field safety experience, “hands on” safety trainer preferred. Knowledge of OSHA regulations and ability to recognize and correct safety-related hazards. Bachelor of Science degree in construction management or engineering required.
