Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and enforce safety programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA standards and project-specific requirements.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and deliver safety training programs to promote awareness and adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and field teams to integrate safety measures into daily operations.
- Investigate and document incidents, accidents, and near-misses, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Maintain and update safety documentation, including reports, logs, and permits.
- Monitor site activities to ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety procedures.
- Facilitate toolbox talks, safety meetings, and emergency drills.
- Provide support in preparing and submitting safety compliance reports.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven experience in construction safety management or related roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health , or a related field preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
- Certifications such as OSHA 30 , Certified Safety Professional (CSP) , or Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) are highly desirable.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in safety management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
