Allied Universal® is hiring a Temporary Safety and Risk Specialist for a 12 month project.The Safety and Risk Specialist will follow a predetermined schedule for facilitating the implementation of a standardized safety improvement process in multiple operational branches. An existing playbook, dashboard, and a cadence of meetings will be utilized to help educate, inform, and establish performance expectations with operational partners. Regular reporting of progress and attendance at Safety Department meetings will be a requirement. This is a remote temporary position.
Salary Range = $50,000-$75,000 (based upon a candidate's experience and background)

Responsibilities
- Facilitate the implementation of a standardized safety improvement process for assigned branches to ensure understanding, drive accountability, and establish operational ownership
- Produce recurring regional and branch-level reports using a standardized safety improvement process and approved reporting formats
- Analyze safety data and educate how an operator should be reviewing for insights, trends, and actions
- Coach branch and general managers on a standardized safety improvement process execution, follow-up expectations, and leadership accountability
- Execute phased deployment activities, including branch onboarding, meeting facilitation, and transition of tactical dashboard process ownership to general managers
- Actively participate in weekly facilitator check-ins, monthly quality reviews, and quarterly program refresh activities by sharing implementation experiences and suggestions for improvement
- Support sustained branch execution of safety improvement process through follow-up meetings, coaching, and performance review
- Collaborate with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) leadership and operational stakeholders to ensure successful implementation
Job Requirements
- Must possess one of the following:
- Associate’s degree or higher in Safety, Emergency Management, Behavioral Science, or related field
- Military safety-related experience (e.g., Safety and Occupational Health (SOH), Safety Managers, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Officers or similar role)
- Minimum of three (3) years of safety or quality related management experience
- Minimum three (3) years of operations safety experience
- Work history must demonstrate the ability to lead others and drive improvement
- Demonstrated knowledge of principles, concepts, methods, and techniques of effective safety process management
- Ability to execute an established course of action to implement a process
- Facilitation and presentation skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of and previous experience with dashboards and business intelligent tools (e.g., DOMO)
- Current Associate Safety Professional (ASP)
- Current Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
- Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) certification and/or foreign (non-US) certifications
