Fire Alarm Inspector

We are currently looking to add a Fire Alarm Inspector to our team in Buffalo, NY. We are looking for someone who appreciates working with a variety of customers, both internal and external, where the environment is friendly and where there are excellent opportunities to development and advance. Prevailing wage when applicable.
Responsibilities
As a Fire Alarm Inspector, you will...
- Test batteries in panels
- Identify fire alarm deficiencies
- Have previous knowledge of different types of panels and how to access systems for testing and service
- Troubleshoot issues on panels to determine which part of the fire alarm system is in need of repair
- Ability to read and use multimeter properly
- Proper customer service and communication skills
- Keep up with NICET certification
- Periodic traveling with occasional over-night stays (proper notice provided)
- Daily travel between customer sites
- Additional duties as the position grows
Job Requirements
We are looking for candidates who...
- Are proficient with mobile device (iPhone)
- Have the ability to generate field reports and process through mobile devices
- Have a valid state driver's license
- Previously received their NICET 1 and a minimum of 3 years previous experience
- Have the ability to withstand heights and climb ladders comfortably
