Responsibilities
Job Description
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Corporate Safety Policy.
- Actively participate in project kick-off and turnover meetings to ensure smooth transitions and clear communication relative to Safety Management.
- In collaboration with Project Manager and Foreman, develop, implement, and maintain the Project Safety Management Plan.
- Participate in weekly project safety meetings and conduct weekly management safety observations.
- Audit project documents to ensure compliance with inspections, permits, and training.
- Conduct incident reporting and root cause analysis of all incidents and near-misses.
- Lead injury case management and maintain a safety deficiency log.
- Report on leading and lagging indicators. Lead site-specific orientation for all new hires and host monthly safety training programs on various topics.
- Partner with the HR Director to coordinate job site safety training, ensuring electricians receive the required training for specific projects.
- Ensure compliance across client portals such as Avetta, ComplyWorks, and HighWire.
- Support Project Managers in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe job site environment.
- Collaborate with the HR Director to manage Workers’ Compensation incidents and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience in the electrical/construction industry (preferred but not required)
- 3+ years’ experience in construction management
- Must hold a recognized safety certification: OSHA 500, STSC, CHST, SMS, ASP, CSP or EH&S degree
