We are seeking a Fire Sprinkler Fitter to join our team! The selected individual will inspect, repair and maintain fire safety equipment and systems in accordance with applicable fire codes.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Fire Sprinkler Fitters must have competent understanding of sprinkler installation and shop drawings
- Recognize fire hazards, apply technical knowledge, and perform services to control and prevent fires
- Review blueprints and building codes to determine optimal work procedures
- Conduct safety inspections and planning fire protection systems
- Prepare written work cost estimates for clients
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Fire Safety
- NYCDOB 40-HR Training (Mandatory)
- FDNY S12 & S13 COF, FDNY F60 & G60 (Preferred)
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Ability to handle physical workload, up to 50 pounds
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
