Our family business has developed from a “mom and pop” company into a highly regarded fire protection contractor servicing the New York City Metropolitan area. Allstate Sprinkler Corp. is recognized as one of the most responsive, thorough and reliable fire suppression contractors in the New York City metropolitan area. We are currently licensed and conduct business throughout the -5- boroughs of New York City, Westchester County, Nassau County, Suffolk County, Lower Hudson Valley, and Northern New Jersey. We have also successfully completed large construction projects in Baltimore, Maryland; Albany, New York and Syracuse, New York.

Currently, we have over 100 – full-time employees. Each field technician is trained and supervised throughout a comprehensive apprenticeship. This process contributes to an extremely high level of proficiency and quality work. All designs, engineering, fiscal management, material needs, and cost analysis are performed by our staff with the aid of computers and CAD technology.

Our operation is completely self-sufficient. Our mechanical shop is stocked with a large supply of pipe and fittings. Each of our trucks is equipped with a complete set of the most technologically advanced equipment. Our mechanics are professional craftsmen who take pride in their work and perform it diligently and safely.

Our services include, but are not limited to the following: complete installations and alterations of fire sprinkler and standpipe systems, prompt correction of all fire department violations, five year hydrostatic pressure tests, emergency service and repairs, fire pump testing and installations, fire extinguisher sales and service, and all fire safety products and equipment.

Allstate Sprinkler Corp. is a licensed Master Fire Suppression Contractor with the New York City building department. HISTORY

Allstate Sprinkler Corp. was founded in 1972 by William and Gladys Goodrich who emigrated from Russia and Poland in search of a better life in America. William, ‘Bill’, learned and mastered the fire protection trade over 5 decades of tremendous learning and effort. Bill dedicated his professional life to the fire protection industry and has shared this passion with his two sons and his two grandsons. At the age of 59, Bill took a huge risk at such a late stage in one’s career and opened the doors to Allstate Sprinkler Corporation.

A few years later, Bill’s sons, Howard and Sidney, joined the family business who worked closely with their parents to expand the business in some of the most prestigious addresses and for some of the most prominent developers in New York.

With years and years of hard work under their belts, the 1st two generations earned Allstate Sprinkler Corporation the reputation as a most respected fire protection contractor in New York City.

In the early 1990s, Bill and Gladys’ 2 grandsons, Mark and Adam joined Allstate who have expanded the business to all new levels of recognition and customer satisfaction. Allstate Sprinkler is now recognized as an industry leader working on significant projects spanning the entire NYC metropolitan area. A complete spectrum of services is offered to our clients including all phases of project management, computer-aided design work, NFPA 25 inspection services, Local Law 26 compliance as well as earning an outstanding reputation with the FDNY and offering many benefits to over 100 employees.

For the past 4 decades, the combination of 3 generations’ work ethic, expertise, and dedication to protecting the buildings of New York City and servicing our customer base with outstanding knowledge and products has afforded us the distinguished nomination as Bronx Business of the Year 2012 and we only expect to maintain our level of professionalism and dedication to our industry for many more generations.
