Topa Group is partnered with a full-service fire protection contractor providing design, installation, inspection, testing, and maintenance services. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Fire Sprinkler Designer to support system design and coordinate with project teams.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules Design fire sprinkler systems in compliance with applicable codes and standards Prepare shop drawings, hydraulic calculations, RFIs, submittals, material lists, and as-builts Survey buildings and existing systems to support accurate designs Coordinate with design managers, project managers, and field teams
Job Requirements
Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills Moderate math and computer skills Ability to manage time and work collaboratively Education & Experience High school diploma or GED required 2+ years of fire sprinkler design experience preferred AutoSPRINK experience preferred CAD, Fire Science, Construction Management, or related degree preferred Certifications Valid driver’s license required NICET (Water-Based Systems Layout) and/or NFPA certification preferred Benefits: Competitive pay, comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision), professional development, and long-term career opportunities within a stable, well-supported organization.
