Title: Fire Sprinkler Superintendent
Location: Atlanta Metro
Salary Range: $33-$45/hr (DOE)
About The Job
Topa Group is partnered with a leading fire protection contractor in the Atlanta metro area seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Superintendent. This is a field leadership role for a “working superintendent” who can oversee multiple commercial projects while supporting crews in the field. You will manage installations from underground/rough-in through final inspection and turnover, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and in full compliance with NFPA standards and local AHJ requirements.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Field Leadership: Supervise and coordinate sprinkler fitters and foremen across active jobsites, ensuring daily production goals and project milestones are met.
Project Oversight: Manage scheduling, manpower, materials, and subcontractors across multiple commercial or multifamily projects.
Installation Support: Provide hands-on guidance for complex installations, system modifications, and field problem-solving.
Code Compliance: Ensure all work meets NFPA 13/13R/14 standards and local Atlanta-area code requirements; coordinate inspections and testing.
Quality Control: Conduct site walks, jobsite audits, and final inspections to ensure systems meet design and performance standards.
Documentation: Track labor, daily reports, and field changes; communicate updates with project managers and office staff.
Client Interface: Act as primary field contact for GCs, inspectors, and clients; lead progress meetings and resolve jobsite issues.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
Experience: 7+ years in fire sprinkler installation, with 3+ years in a foreman or superintendent role.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of wet, dry, pre-action, and standpipe systems; ability to read plans and hydraulic calculations.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead crews across multiple projects and maintain schedules.
Certifications: NICET in Water-Based Systems (preferred), OSHA 30 strongly preferred.
Compliance: Knowledge of NFPA codes and Georgia/Atlanta AHJ processes.
Licensing: Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
