Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement safety programs and initiatives in accordance with industry standards and regulations, with a focus on ergonomics.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety and ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
- Provide training and education to employees on ergonomics and safe work practices.
- Conduct ergonomic assessments and provide recommendations for ergonomic solutions to improve employee comfort and prevent injuries.
- Develop and maintain safety policies and procedures, ensuring they are up to date and in line with best practices.
- Investigate and report on incidents and accidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Keep up to date with industry developments and advancements in ergonomics to continuously improve safety practices.
- Communicate and consult with management and employees on safety issues and recommendations.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify potential safety risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Monitor and track safety metrics to measure the effectiveness of safety programs and initiatives.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on ergonomics and provide guidance and support to other team members.
- Participate in safety committees and meetings to provide insights and recommendations for improving safety.
- Stay informed on relevant laws and regulations related to safety and ensure compliance.
- Act as a liaison with external safety organizations and agencies to stay informed on industry best practices and trends.
Job Requirements
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Occupational Safety And Health, Engineering, Or Related Field.
- Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Experience In Occupational Safety And Ergonomics, Preferably In A Theme Park Or Entertainment Industry Setting.
- Certified Professional Ergonomist (Cpe) Or Certified Industrial Ergonomist (Cie) Designation.
- In-Depth Knowledge Of Federal And State Safety Regulations, Including Osha And Ansi Standards.
- Proven Track Record Of Developing And Implementing Successful Ergonomics Programs, Including Conducting Risk Assessments, Developing Training Materials, And Implementing Corrective Actions.
