Responsibilities
How You Will Make An Impact
- Examine and test complex fire sprinkler systems in strict accordance with NFPA codes to ensure total site safety.
- Document detailed inspection reports and identify system deficiencies using digital tablet-based reporting tools.
- Execute routine maintenance and specialized service work to resolve technical issues for commercial and residential clients.
- Organize and maintain dedicated truck inventory to ensure rapid response times and field efficiency.
- Consult with customers to explain technical findings and provide clear recommendations for system improvements.
- Collaborate with the service team to uphold WFSC’s long-standing reputation for quality and technical excellence.
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 2–5 years of direct experience within the fire protection industry.
- Active NC State Inspector License or NICET Level II certification in Inspection and Testing of Water-Based Systems.
- Proven ability to operate professional tools, ladders, and aerial lifts safely in various field environments.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record suitable for operating company vehicles.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Advanced proficiency in navigating various NFPA codes and local fire ordinances.
- Prior experience in a customer-facing service role requiring high levels of communication and problem-solving.
- Demonstrated history of maintaining high-quality documentation and digital reporting accuracy.
