Security Officer
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced,Full Time Security Officer with a Fire Guard license to become an integral part of our team for one of our high-profile client's. You MUST have a minimum of 3 years Security and or Fire Guard experience to be considered for this opportunity.
*** Potential Hours: FOR IMMEDIATE HIRE | M-F: 7A-3P (Must be flexible)
Responsibilities
**Must be willing to work indoor & outdoor post, if needed.
- Maintain a professional demeanor, always, while aiding any of the following patrons; guests, employees, and visitors
- Respect the privacy, and information of each guest
- Provide a pro-active approach to customer service
- Demonstrate the ability to diplomatically address and control challenging situations
- Monitor the environment, with the ability to detect suspicious and unsafe activity
- Greet guests, visitors, and staff in a professional manner always
- Answer questions and assist all in a customer focused, supportive manner
- Answer all phones in a professional manner (if needed)
- Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits
- Know the facility / policies / procedures, and enforce them within the limits of the position
- Perform required patrols of designated areas on foot
- Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensure authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate customer requirements
- Follow established emergency action planning and procedures
- Monitor alarms and systems, as required
- Prepare reports on incidents, and suspicious activities, as directed*
- Maintain regular attendance and highest standards of personal appearance
Job Requirements
- MUST have a minimum of 3 years Security experience to be considered for this opportunity
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Minimum High School Diploma, GED or the equivalent
- Must have a valid security guard license and all necessary credentials
- Must have a valid fire guard license and all necessary credentials
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Friendly and professional demeanor with a strong work ethic and integrity
- Must enjoy interacting with a diverse group of people
- Previous experience in a customer service-oriented security role, helpful
