Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

  • Establish contact with prospective and qualified buyers of system modifications and upgrades through sales calls, lead follow-up, and targeted marketing strategies.
  • Conduct site surveys to identify customer needs and effectively communicate State Systems’ capabilities and service offerings.
  • Develop and maintain an active proposal backlog to support the established sales plan.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to ensure long-term satisfaction and partnership.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support company initiatives and ensure alignment with divisional goals.
  • Meet or exceed the key objectives of the annual commission plan.

Job Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–5 years of experience in the fire protection industry, preferably in sales or service.
  • Strong prospecting drive and proven ability to close business.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with end users and contractors.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Willingness to complete pre-employment background, reference, and drug screening.
  • Self-motivated, goal-driven, and eager to contribute to a growing team.
