Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience with fire protection systems. This role involves designing, fire alarm systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards. The Fire Alarm Engineer will work closely with architects, contractors, and other engineering professionals to deliver high-quality fire protection solutions.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Design and develop fire alarm systems including some suppression systems after training (FM-200, FIKE, ANSUL ) .
- Create detailed blueprints and layouts using CAD software.
- Conduct thorough analysis of Fire Alarm systems design to ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA )
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate fire safety measures into building designs.
- Utilize Bluebeam for document management and collaboration during project phases.
- Troubleshoot issues related to fire system design and equipment.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation related to fire safety assessments.
Job Requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or Creo; experience with MicroStation is a plus.
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles as they relate to fire alarm systems.
- Familiarity with NEC & NFPA codes and standards governing electrical installations.
- Knowledge of Honeywell Fire Alarm products, especially Notifier brand is highly desirable
- Experience working with Manufacturer Specifications for system design.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
