
Fire Sprinkler Sales Representative
Job Description
Serenity Fire Protection is a fire sprinkler contractor serving Southern California, seeking an experienced Sales Representative to develop new business and manage relationships with general contractors, developers, architects, and property owners.
Compensation & Benefits
Starting base salary: $75,000–$90,000 (based on experience), plus commission on closed projects.
Expected total wages with commissions can range from $120,000–$150,000. Commission are uncapped and a motivated sells person can make more the expected total wages range.

Responsibilities
- Develop and manage new commercial fire sprinkler accounts across LA County, Orange County, Inland Empire, San Diego.
- Sell service work and help manage them.
- Build and maintain relationships with general contractors, developers, architects, and local Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs)
- Read plans and specifications to scope and quote fire sprinkler installation and retrofit projects
- Manage the sales pipeline from initial lead through contract award
- Stay current on NFPA 13/13R/13D and local code requirements relevant to sales conversations
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to target new and existing clients within the fire sprinkler industry.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering teams, project managers, and customer support to design customized fire sprinkler solutions that meet client specifications.
- Foster long-term client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service delivery.
- Existing Relationships with large contractors such as Turner Construction, McCarthy Construction, DPI Construction, etc. is preferred.
- Existing book of business work is preferred.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in technical sales.
- Demonstrated ability in solution sales, deal closing, and business development within fire sprinkler indusrty.
- Proficiency with CRM systems for managing customer data and sales pipelines.
- Effective analysis skills for assessing client needs and tailoring solutions accordingly.
- Experience in client relationship management and client communication strategies that foster trust and loyalty.
- Ability to collaborate across teams including engineering, project management, and customer support for successful project execution.
- Familiarity with enterprise software applications relevant to fire sprinkler system design and management is a plus. Software's such as AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Bluebeam.
- Proficiency in Microwsoft Excel, & Word.
- Minimum of 5 years in the fire sprinkler industry.
- Minimum of 2 years in the sales industry.
