The programmer is responsible for interpreting blueprints and executing programming on various low voltage systems, including fire alarms and security systems. The role involves troubleshooting, equipment repair, and utilizing test equipment while maintaining adherence to set technical standards and procedures.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Ability to read, interpret, and execute blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics and operational product manuals.
- Ability to program or proven experience in programing low voltage systems including fire alarm, nurse call, access control, security, Burglar alarms CCTV.
- Consistently apply specific skills and relevant Fire Alarm system knowledge including underlying professional/technical principles or standards.
- Adhere to method-of-procedure(s) required to troubleshoot systems in accordance with technical manuals, part manuals, change notices and bulletins, modification notices, etc. to repair equipment.
- Knowledge of test equipment to include oscilloscope, multi-meters, digital analyzers, battery analyzers, frequency meters, decibel meters and communication devices preferred.
- Excellent Industrial Electrical Problem Solving and Troubleshooting Skills
- Computer fluency in Windows, Excel, and other Microsoft products.
- Logic Programming Skills
