The Sprinkler Install Superintendent is responsible for overseeing multiple jobs, large crews, and complex fire sprinkler installation projects. This role combines advanced technical expertise with strong leadership capabilities. The Superintendent ensures operational coordination, safety, and compliance while remaining actively engaged in fieldwork.

Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee multiple jobs and/or crews in installation of fire sprinkler systems.
- Coordinate complex projects to ensure timely and efficient execution.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop technicians, leads, and apprentices.
- Independently perform installation using hand tools and equipment.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications for installation projects.
- Ensure compliance with NFPA standards, local codes, and company procedures.
- Manage job site logistics, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Review and approve documentation and installation reports for accuracy and completeness.
- Communicate effectively with customers, leadership, and internal teams.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Travel to job sites as required.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Other Duties:

- Performs other duties assigned by management.
Job Requirements
Education/Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 6+ years of experience in the fire and life safety industry as a technician or above.
- Must have experience in a supervisory role.
- NICET certified preferred.
- Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler system installation practices and applicable codes.
- Must have a clean driving record and active driver’s license (if driving is required).
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in various environments.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
- Work performed in commercial, industrial, and construction environments.
- Exposure to varying conditions including heights, confined spaces, and active job sites.
