We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Capital Projects Sales Specialist to join our team at Pye-Barker Fire & Safety. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for increasing sales revenue by developing and maintaining relationships with customers and clients.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with customers. You will be responsible for identifying prospective customers, following up on potential sales leads, and maintaining relationships with existing customers. Additionally, you will recommend marketing strategies designed for a target market.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads.
- Communicate with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identify and suggest products and services to meet those needs.
- Demonstrate the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs.
- Evaluate customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolve any issues that may arise post-sale.
- Maintain detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of applicable NFPA Codes preferred.
- Five years of related experience preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Able to obtain and maintain TWIC card.
